optimization<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Specific<\/b><b> Job Responsibility\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><span><span>The specific tasks to be performed by the position holder will include;<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Act as first responder <\/span><span>to control room operation related problems,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Do<\/span><span> troubleshooting that may arise <\/span><span>from\u00a0<\/span><span> control<\/span><span> system equipment failure or software <\/span><span>modifications<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> in coordinating and executing<\/span><span> <\/span><\/span><span><span>the installation of new and retrofit control systems using SIEMENS PLC Controllers and I \/ O system<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> in scoping, <\/span><span>coordinating<\/span><span> and executing<\/span><span> <\/span><\/span><span><span>the design, development, documentation of <\/span><span>advance control systems, <\/span><span>DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA program code<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> in coordinating and executing<\/span><span> <\/span><\/span><span><span>the performance testing of operating systems, electrical or electronic communication syste<\/span><span>m and inspection of<\/span><span> equipment to detect potential defects<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Update and do<\/span><span> <\/span><span>SCADA<\/span><span> development and<\/span><span> changes<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Configure system hardware, <\/span><span>software<\/span><span> and SCADA to match field related modifications\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Provide technical direction and support to trainees,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Understand the control philosophy of the process plant<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Perform standby duties as <\/span><span>required<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Adhere to site DCS standards and good electronics<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Excellent knowledg<\/span><span>e of Siemens PCS7, Siemens <\/span><span>TIA\u00a0 and<\/span><span> Step 7<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Working knowledge<\/span><\/span><span><span> <\/span><span>and understanding of<\/span><span> network communication, including TCP\/IP, <\/span><span>Profibus<\/span><span> DP, <\/span><span>Profibus<\/span><span> PA and Modbus<\/span><span> systems;<\/span><span> <\/span><span>inc<\/span><\/span><span><span>lu<\/span><span>ding<\/span><span> installation and testing<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Understanding of system drawings, including GA\u2019s, Wiring schematics, termination diagrams and P&amp;ID\u2019s (Piping and Instrumentation diagrams)<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Excellent knowledge of STL, SCL, FBD, CFC\u2019s and SFC<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Good knowledge of C, C&#043;&#043; or Visual Basic<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>General knowledge in <\/span><span>Osisoft<\/span><span> PI Historian,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>General knowledge in Advance control systems,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Good knowledge in OPC interfaces,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Strong technical skills related to instrumentation and control<\/span><span>,<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Must be familiar with industry bets practises
