{"id":68773,"date":"2024-04-03T13:12:24","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T13:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/firstquantumcareers.com\/artisan-auto-electrical\/"},"modified":"2024-06-25T09:21:19","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T09:21:19","slug":"artisan-auto-electrical","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firstquantumcareers.kinsta.cloud\/es\/artisan-auto-electrical\/","title":{"rendered":"Artisan, Auto Electrical"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>PURPOSE<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Responsible for the execution of all auto electrical work and Air-conditioning repairs on various vehicles, Earth moving machineries and ancillary equipment in a safe and timely manner to client standards and specifications.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform auto electrical work on vehicles and heavy equipment machinery<\/li>\n<li>Design and build auto electrical systems required to support operational functions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare wiring diagrams and specifications for low voltage electrical equipment applications<\/li>\n<li>Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist to determine critical spare parts in order to generate strategic critical list and reasonable stock level for spare parts.<\/li>\n<li>Help design, wire or re-wire electrical circuits to improve the reliability of the electrical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that maintenance objectives are effectively communicated to optimize machine availability.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that stock levels of electrical equipment are maintained in the warehouse and report all defective or substandard equipment to your direct Supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose and repair electrical faults in various vehicles and machinery<\/li>\n<li>Maintain work area\/s in a satisfactory condition and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as instructed by the Supervisor\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Grade Twelve Certificate (Grade 12)<\/li>\n<li>Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical Repairs \/ Equivalent from recognised institution<\/li>\n<li>Member of EIZ<\/li>\n<li>Craft certificate in refrigeration management will be added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years\u2019 relevant experience as a qualified Auto Electrician<\/li>\n<li>Must have good working experience on Drills, Ancillary Equipment, Trucks and Excavators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:inherit\">\n<p style=\"text-align:inherit\">\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>Visit our website and register for instant job alerts at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/careers.first-quantum.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span class=\"WDC2\">careers.first-quantum.com<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>Follow us for the latest news at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/first-quantum-minerals-ltd\/careers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a><\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:inherit\">\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>If you are already a First Quantum employee and have access to the First Quantum network, log into First Quantum MINE &gt; Careers to apply internally for this opportunity. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:inherit\">\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>If you are an employee without network access, contact your Site Recruiter.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PURPOSE Responsible for the execution of all auto electrical work and Air-conditioning repairs on various vehicles, Earth moving machineries and ancillary equipment in a safe and timely manner to client standards and specifications.
