core operational and technical functions within the mine geology team, ensuring all geological data is delivered to best practice standards and on time so that all resource, ore control, and geological models can be accur<\/span><span>ately defined. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Provide support to key stakeholders to ensure all material can be delivered to the correct place and processed optimally by the operational teams.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Specific<\/span><span> Job Responsibility\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Demonstration of a \u201csafety first\u201d focus by acting as a role model to <\/span><span>all <\/span><span>personnel<\/span><span>.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Conduc<\/span><span>t ore delineation and control <\/span><span>including efforts to minimize dilution, ore loss, and m<\/span><span>isclassification.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Conduct reverse<\/span><span> <\/span><span>circulation <\/span><span>grade control planning, execution, supervision and sampling to best practice and QA<\/span><span>\/<\/span><span>QC standards<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Undertake<\/span><span> in-pit mapping and 3D interpretation<\/span><span>.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Integration and interpretation of all geological and sampling data<\/span><span> <\/span><span>sets to create 3D geological, structural, geochemical, and geo-metallurgical models<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> with best practice mater<\/span><span>ial reconciliation and tracking.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Continuous liaison with key stakeholders, including mining operations, mining engineering, process<\/span><span>ing<\/span><span>, geotechnical and hydro-geological teams to drive benefits a<\/span><span>ligned with business <\/span><span>objectives<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Management and leadership of the mine geology reporting support teams, including both day-to-day core operations and long-term strategy, driving quality and standards in the teams\u2019 work and efficiencies.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist<\/span><span> with the management and control of the quality and standard<\/span><span>s<\/span><span> of consistent and secure databases and information storage<\/span><span>.<\/span><span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Provide support<\/span><span> <\/span><span>with<\/span><span> preparation of geological and operations repo<\/span><span>rts and official communications.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Assist the Senior Mine Geologist with planning and prioritization of geological activities across the mine leases, where <\/span><span>requested<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Perform any other related duties assigned by the <\/span><span>supervisor.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Job Specific<\/span><span> <\/span><span>Competencies\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Familiarity with <\/span><span>Datamine<\/span><span>, <\/span><span>OreController<\/span><span>, <\/span><span>Datashed<\/span><span>, Snow<\/span><span>den supervisor or similar usage is <\/span><span>advantageous<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Excellent <\/span><span>verbal and written communication skills including report writing<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Excellent data analytical skills<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Key <\/span><span>Job <\/span><span>the majority spent in mining production<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Operational e<\/span><span>xp<\/span><span>erience<\/span><span> <\/span><span>in<\/span><span> open pit <\/span><span>Copper and Nickel <\/span><span>mining <\/span><span>deposits<\/span><span> is <\/span><span>advantageous<\/span><span>.<\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span><span>Practical experience in field ore control, diamond drilling, reverse circulation drilling and pit mapping<\/span><span> is
