That\u2019s how we continue to achieve extraordinary things in extraordinary locations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:inherit\">\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Job description:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Responsible for identifying staff training. development needs and for planning, organizing, and conducting appropriate training and assessments for concentrator and hydro-metallurgical employees in order to achieve maximum competence, maintain and improve efficiency of process operations.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><b><span>Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with relevant sections within the processing department to determine technical training and development needs in line with KMP\u2019s short and long term target.<\/li>\n<li>Review and Determine needs and competence levels of employees<\/li>\n<li>Consolidate a Process Technical training plan to meet all operational needs and deliver training to bridge gaps in employee\u2019s skills and knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Develop training aids and materials according to identified training needs and maintain them to the acceptable standards.<\/li>\n<li>Updating existing metallurgical operations training packages<\/li>\n<li>Select appropriate training methods or activities for implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with trainee\u2019s supervisors on training schedules and ensure timely delivery of training.<\/li>\n<li>Assess\/evaluate instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on learners\u2019 skills and KPIs through deliberate Planned Tasks Observations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain training records and training matrices for all trainees in the approved Training system<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain productive relations and effective communication with stakeholders to establish training needs and report on training progress.<\/li>\n<li>Practices safe work habits and follow general safety procedures<\/li>\n<li>Understand and identify all relevant plant equipment, process control and emergency systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that company procedures and safety regulations are re-enforced in order to minimise accidents and optimise production.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing new or reviewing safe operating procedures, safe work instructions and other similar documents as required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining an appropriate reporting schedule as determined by the Senior Specialist, Technical<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as may be reasonably requested of by the supervisor in line with effective operations of the Training Department..<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Qualifications<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Requirements:<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Process Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Technical Teacher Certificate \/ Diploma in Teaching Methodology from recognized institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span>Experience<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of operational experience in a Mineral Processing plant preferable in Copper &amp;
